The Plano Families First Fall Fair will be held Saturday, Oct. 16, from 8:30a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Plano Event Center. Garnering community-wide support from local business and nonprofit sectors, it will provide an array of services to those seeking community, educational and career services and resources. The Fall Fair is free and open to families who reside in Plano or attend Plano schools.
The Job Fair will bring together a variety of employers looking to fill full-time, part-time and seasonal positions, and a career corner will provide adults with resume tips and a free LinkedIn headshot taken by a professional photographer.
Families can take advantage of free health and dental screenings, fluoride varnishes and flu shots for adults and children. Also on tap are CPR demos led by the Plano Fire Department, book giveaways, kids crafts, inflatables, superhero appearances by Wonder Woman and Spiderman, entertainment, and a “petting zoo” where children can learn and play with musical instruments provided by the Plano Symphony Orchestra.
